In 2004 the Group becomes Quartiglia S.p.A. aggregating its various activities and grouping,  already in 2007,
everything related to Foodservice.

In 1983 in Cologna Spiaggia, in the province of Teramo, the Centro Agro Alimentare Quartiglia opened up its doors for the first time distributing only fruit and vegetable products. Expertise and company synergy enabled the company to expand product selection in just a few years, thoroughly covering different product areas: meat (fresh and frozen), fruit, perishable goods, fish (fresh and frozen), other kinds of food (dry and chemical foodstuff), equipment

In order to reinforce and complement its activities and in a complete  service point of view, in 1991 Quartiglia opened up the Hotel Equipment Centre, with a range of over 12,000 items of cutlery, dishes, kitchen accessories, furnishing accessories and machinery and equipment for kitchens and bars.

n more recent years Cash and Carry outlets have been set up with the aim of further expanding the Quartiglia Group activities and services offered daily to its customers
