In December 2006 Quartiglia S.p.A.,
as founding member, has become part of
“Consorzio Nazionale Catering Caldo e Freddo”.
Besides the Quartiglia Group, the Gel Group, the Consorzio Piacenza Catering and Cateringross are also members of the new Association. 850 million euro turnover and a customer portfolio of about 90,000 make “Caldo e Freddo” the largest Italian distributing reality in foodservice.

The Quartiglia Group is also partner of the Consorzio Cateringross, the first cooperation organization in italy among catering operators. The association includes 60 wholesales and provides foodstuff to over 59,000 operators of commercial and collective catering.

Quartiglia Company is the second group of reference in the distribution of specialized products for the commercial catering industry. It has been operating in the Foodservice market for almost twenty-five years, a market which in Italy has a value equals to 59 billion euro and which shows forecasts of increasing growth in the next years also (about 70 billion euro in 2008). From within such a market, the distribution operations are valued at 15.7 billion euro
